EANI have suggested that school leaders are asked to monitor and assess the weather warnings in their areas and, if necessary, take local decisions. The upgraded amber warning affects parts of Antrim, Fermanagh, Londonderry and Tyrone and will come into effect from 2pm to 7pm today.
School will remain open until after lunch time when the amber warning comes into force. School will close for all pupils at 2.20pm with foundation stage. Should parents decide to collect their child earlier please telephone the office to make arrangements. We know that some children get the bus home and currently Translink are continuing to run the bus, although that may change. If you need your child to get the bus please contact the office so that we can try to arrange supervision for those children until 3pm.
